Goal: Safety & Productivity

Combining safety and productivity is the goal sought by many companies, particularly in the recycling sector where machine/pedestrian coactivity results in a high risk of collision.

Recycling operations, particularly in sorting centers, involves significant coactivity between people on the ground and machines, leading to serious accidents every year. Pedestrian traffic or waste sorting on the ground and drivers’ focus on their task at the controls of powerful machines with large blind spots present a high risk of collision.

Whether the machine is a wheel excavator, loader, telescopic handler or forklift, Blaxtair allows the operator to focus on the task at hand while alerting them to pedestrian hazards.

At some of our customer sites, pedestrians can also be alerted via a voice buzzer or a visual alarm mounted on the outside of the machine. Since 2013, Blaxtair has increased the safety of the recycling sites of global leaders in Europe and the United States.
